Cumbernauld Craft Fayre

by Struthers Cumbernauld

We had a busy Craft Fayre last night. There was over 100 people and our sales were over £2000. This year our stalls were spread throughout our Sunday school rooms as over the last few years our coffee shop has felt a bit too busy! The rooms had been decorated by our young folk and with Christmas Carols playing in the background we managed to maintain something of the festive atmosphere of our past Craft Fayres.  It still felt very busy and we already have plans next year to expand into the crèche too. After crafts, coffee and cakes our winners were announced for our annual quiz. We then had a short but beautiful Christmas service in the church. Most of the visitors stayed for the full evening. There were very positive comments at the end of the night from many of our new friends and 2 waited to have a private chat with the minister. It was the first of our Christmas outreaches this season and we were very pleased with it. Thanks to all those who contributed gifts and baking and supported us by coming along.
