Outreach meetings update

by Struthers Cumbernauld

Our three outreach meetings took place on Wednesday night.

In Airdrie, a small number gathered. John took a time of singing at the beginning of the meeting. After an interesting testimony from Janice, Rae spoke. There were two new people at the meeting and they seemed to enjoy it very much.

In Coatbridge a larger number gathered. Pete began the meeting with a time of singing followed by Gary's testimony to salvation and the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Carol then spoke on the power of the Holy Spirit. There came a real sense of life through the word and the worship time that followed was excellent. Although there were no visitors at the meeting several of our newer friends from the local area were present.

In Motherwell two visitors joined with those who gathered for the meeting. Karen took a time of singing followed by an interesting testimony from Billy. Diana spoke briefly on the words of Peter 'I don't know what you are talking about.' Matt 26:70. Lives received ministry during the worship time that followed. One visitor spoke of the wonderful Presence of God she felt. We have been so encouraged by this work that from May we are planning to start having these meetings twice a month.
