Welsh conference day one

by Struthers Cumbernauld

For many years now we have held an annual Welsh Conference based at our church in South Wales. Our conferences and camps, across the movement, have been very significant for many within the church. We look back over many years to the faithfulness of God as we have met year after year. Our 2013 Welsh Conference began on Friday 24 May.

The first meeting went very well. Helen led a great time of singing, after which, Annette shared a very good testimony. Katy and Rhian sang a lovely duet and then Diana Rutherford preached on Hebrews 2:3: 'How shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation.'
We had a time of prayer and worship after the preaching. It was excellent, with the Lord blessing us deeply with his wonderful presence. Two lives received the baptism in the Holy Spirit whilst others benefited greatly from personal ministry in the course of the worship time. Towards the end of the meeting a powerful word was given.
It was a very encouraging start to what we pray will be a significant conference for many. We place our hope in Him.

We would greatly appreciate your prayers as we seek to glorify the Lord in this corner of His vineyard.
