Outreach meetings update

by Struthers Cumbernauld

On Wednesday 8 May we had three outreach meetings on.
In Airdrie, a small group gathered. After a time of singing led by John, Rae spoke on several verses about the peace of God including John 14: 27: 'Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.'
A nice prayer time followed with some folks receiving ministry.

In Motherwell, there were three visitors along with the regular local folk that gathered together. After a fabulous time of singing led by Karen and Andrew, Martin testified to Salvation and Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Laura then brought a very good word before turning to a time of prayer and ministry. There was a wonderful presence of God during the time of worship. The Motherwell folk were very pleased with the night.

In Coatbridge the regular folk gathered along with one gentleman who is relatively new to the group. After a time of singing led by Carol, John shared an excellent testimony. He spoke of feeling drawn to return to church and find God, whilst standing at the side of a football pitch. Diana then brought the word from Hebrews 2:14.
'Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.'
It was an encouraging word! A time of prayer and ministry followed with some beautiful singing in the Holy Spirit.
Please pray for these meetings as we long to see more people drawn to God in the same way John was drawn to come.
