This week at our Tuesday evening bible study we began by looking at the fact that we were once dead in sin yet Christ still loved us and saved us and brought us to Himself. He has saved us, not only from our sin, but also from our human nature, by His wondrous grace.
We then moved on to verses 6 and 7 of Ephesians chapter 2 which point out how we ought to live in Christ and be united with Him and with each other.
We went on to focus on what Paul meant by the "exceeding riches of His grace" (v7). These verses are as relevant today as they were during the time of writing. We have all tasted these riches on receiving His salvation and throughout our lives as we deepen in Him.
Whether Jew or Gentile, Christ has made a way possible into the life of God. The barriers that were between each of these have been stripped away and each is now a child of God. Through His Son, He is able to fit each one of us together and dwell within us through the power of the Holy Spirit.
