We had a good meeting this week in Coatbridge. Carol took the meeting, starting with a time of singing. Following this, Marion gave her testimony to salvation and Baptism in the Holy Spirit which was interesting. Carol then spoke from Zechariah Chapter 4. She brought out the fact that God wants us to become reliable Christians. People that God can trust and use. It was a challenging word and several people commented at the end of the evening that it had spoken to them. After the speaking Ailsa led a time of worship whilst some folks received personal ministry. It was a very good night.
In Motherwell a smaller number gathered in the Isa Money centre. Diana began the night with a short time of singing and worship. Following this she brought a word from Marks Gospel about a question the disciples asked Jesus in private. She encouraged us to be very real with God and seek to find the answers to our own questions. Diana encouraged us not to just accept things the way they are in our lives but to look for a deeper walk with God. There followed a really beautiful time of prayer where individuals prayed for the work in Motherwell. During this there came a wonderful quiet stillness and sense of deeply communing with Him.
