Wednesday night outreach meetings

Wednesday Outreaches

We had a great meeting in Coatbridge this week. A good number of us gathered including one who came through ASK, the soup kitchen. Rae took some singing which was very good. Then Carol spoke about baptism in the Holy Spirit and encouraged us to remember our own experience and to seek for the Holy Spirit to fill us again and again. We turned to prayer and, whilst ministry was going on, Ailsa took the last part of the worship time. A very real awareness of God's presence came.

In Motherwell, a smaller number gathered. We were delighted to have a new gentleman along from the local area who is seeking to find God. Mark and Laura led a short but beautiful time of singing. Martin gave a very clear testimony to salvation and baptism in the Holy Spirit. Following this Diana brought a word from scattered verses in the Gospel of Mark. She linked the verses together and presented the gospel. Thereafter we had a short time of worship together which was very rich. The meeting was short so we had a nice long time to chat at the end. Our visitor stayed right till the end with the promise he would be back at our next meeting.
