We had a good meeting in Coatbridge this week. We began with a time of singing led by Ailsa. Carol then spoke from Psalm 107. She spoke of looking for, and expecting new things from God and being ready to move with challenges that may lie ahead. It was a word full of life and zeal. Pete then led a lovely time of prayer and worship, during which there came a real sense of the sacred flame that we find in Christ.
In Motherwell we began with a time of singing led by Mark and Karen. There was a lovely, gentle theme of the cross and the forgiveness of Jesus Christ. This was followed by Barbara who gave an excellent testimony to Salvation, Baptism in the Holy Spirit and being set free from deep depression. Graham followed this by speaking on the need for labourers. He really challenged us to deepen in our prayer life and find a place where our prayers go beyond our own circumstances. We closed with a short time of worship. We were delighted to have two visitors with us who seemed to enjoy their time of fellowship with us.
