Tonight was our first meeting after the summer camps. It was great to see a new couple return after many months.
There was a time of sharing how God had been working in our lives over the summer months with many commenting on how fruitful the summer camps were.
We prayed before Carol spoke on Romans 12 about the importance of us all being aligned with Christ; how we need to take our place in the church, to pick up what God has placed upon us and to lovingly serve each other.
We were all blessed with the word tonight and closed with a time of singing and prayer.
A good number gathered for the first meeting of our Airdrie group after the summer break. Two visitors were very happy to join us again. We had a time of singing led by John. Rae then brought a word from Exodus 13 - 'There must be no yeast bread or any yeast at all found within the borders of your land.' Then from Ephesians 6 - 'Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.' There followed a time of prayer and worship before we had fellowship over a cup of tea and cake.
