Toddlers update

by Struthers Cumbernauld

There were 20 children and adults who joined us for our session this morning. Many of the children and babies dressed up as we celebrated World Book Day.  It was good to have a new baby from one of our regular families join us today. During free play some of the children decorated paper plates with spring flowers to give to their mums. Our story tent, which was full of books, was enjoyed by most of the older children. Marianne completed our Families theme by reading the story "Guess how much I love You". The younger children had a fun singing and rhyme session.

During this time our adults took part in a Who's Who Bible quiz. Prizes were presented later.

At snack time Annette took the opportunity to briefly lead a discussion, with some of the adults, about books we had grown up with. She then showed a selection of Christian biographies which our parents could borrow if they wished. One of our mums took us up on the offer.

A busy noisy morning.
