Thought for the week by Ailsa

Ephesians Ch3 v18
"And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high and how deep His love really is".

What an amazing verse! There is no favouritism in God's love, it is for all of His children. The love of God is so vast and limitless that we can never fully comprehend it. It is like an ocean. You can see it, feel it, become submerged in it, but even still, you can never really discover the whole of it. This is what God's love is like. It is deep enough to bury our sins and wide enough for us to be lost in it.
Sometimes life becomes tough and we can feel overwhelmed with the tasks and choices ahead of us. At these moments, turn, and deliberately choose to run into the love of God. He is our Father, and He wants us to experience His mighty love. His love can overwhelm us, but also draws intimately close. This week, let us choose to hide ourselves deeply in His love and begin to understand how wonderful it really is.
