Thought for the week by pastor Diana Rutherford

'My heart trusted in him, and I am helped'
Psalm 28:7

It is a wonderful thing to look back on different events in life and remember how the Lord has helped us.
We often pray and ask for help in times of trouble, but then forget to consider how we were helped. Take time to reflect on such occasions. You will be surprised to find that there are a multitude of them! If we learn to walk in fellowship with the Lord, He helps us daily, often minute by minute.
Let us be comforted by these reflections. There will be other trials ahead, perhaps even today, but The Lord Jesus who has helped us thus far will continue to be our help.
'O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed.' Psalm 25:2
