'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.'    Matt 11: 28 and 29

This was the word I got at the beginning of the school October break.  Bliss!

It was so nice to come into the presence of God on Saturday morning and lay all my weariness and burdens down at His feet.  To take off every weight of responsibility and feel a sense of relief and rest come in its place.  A rest that is not just meant to be for our minds and bodies but for our souls as well.

I considered what it meant to 'find rest for your soul'.  It means being free from care, fear, anxiety and guilt.  To be at rest means to be deeply contented within; contented with yourself, with life and most of all with God.

Surely we should strive to 'learn from Him' and enter into His rest.
