Outreach Meetings Update

by Struthers Cumbernauld

On Wednesday night we had our three outreach meetings running simultaneously in Airdrie, Coatbridge and Motherwell.

In our Coatbridge meeting folks gathered for our first meeting this year. Pete led a time of singing with a real sense of praise and thankfulness to God. Carol then brought a word full of hope for the year ahead from Micah 7:11-12, Hosea 11: 10-11 and scattered verses from Isaiah 37. There was a real sense of anticipation among us for the coming year! The meeting turned to a time of prayer and intercession for the work, which led into a lovely time of worship. There was a real sense of God with us!

In Airdrie, a smaller group gathered. They began with a time of singing followed by an encouraging report of the year from one of our folks who has found God in new depths this year. It was a real testimony to the faithfulness of God! John then spoke about faith and trusting God for the year ahead. This was followed by a time of prayer and intercession for the work.

The group that met in Motherwell had 3 new faces. There was a time of singing led by Karen, and Laura spoke from 'if any man thirst, let him come to Me and drink'. This was followed by a very good time of worship led by Barbara. There was a strong sense of God's covering throughout.

We do thank God for the continuing work in these towns and look forward to the year ahead! Please join us in prayer that there will be a reaching out to many this year for the glory of God and the extension of His Kingdom.
