Mid week outreach meetings

Coatbridge Meeting
A good meeting tonight. Carol took the singing and then asked Olene to share testimony. Great testimony from her. Short but full of the life of the Spirit on how she has believed in God and Jesus all her life and has known His tangeable peace in times of crisis. She spoke of how she has come to know Him and walk more closely with Him since she has been baptised in the Holy Spirit and now knows the person of the Holy Spirit too.
Following this Carol spoke from Romans ch 7 v 22
'For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members'
She spoke about how we need to acknowledge areas of the old man that need changing and seek to allow the spiritual man to grow bigger than the old.
Ailsa took an excellent worship time at the end in which there came a real sense of Light. During this time there was some personal ministry. A real draw of the life of Christ came taking lives out in love and worship.
All in all a really good night.

Motherwell Meeting
We had a quieter night than usual with some of our regular folk missing.
Karen began the evening with a beautiful time of song. We followed this with up to date reports from folks. Some gave very encouraging reports of healing, learning to overcome inward weaknesses and dealing with stressful situations.
Diana then spoke from Hebrews 13:20,21.
'May the God of peace...equip you with everything good for doing his will.'
It tied in very well with the reports that had already been shared. She spoke of how God wants to change us from being fearful and lacking confidence and equip us with His power and strength. This needs to happen right in the core of our inner most beings for us to become effective in the kingdom of God.
Thereafter we had a short time of prayer where we sought God to bring about these changes more deeply in our lives.
