We had a reasonable number at our meeting on Wednesday evening.
We began with a time of carol singing followed by a number of up to date reports that folks volunteered to give. Diana then brought the word from Mark 4:35. Following this we had a time of worship which was very rich. There was some personal ministry and a sense of rich feeding on His presence as we prayed together.
A small number gathered in Motherwell this week. We began with a time of singing led by Barbara. Karen then brought the word from Luke 2:7 'And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.'
It was a message that reminded us not to find our Saviour crowded out by the busyness of the season. Barbara then shared the plans for the new year to move the meeting to a hall more in the heart of Motherwell. We then had a time of prayer upholding the future of the work in this area.
