Update on outreach meetings

by Struthers Cumbernauld

We had three meetings taking place on Wednesday night of this week.

In Cumbernauld the mother and toddler group had a supper evening for the mums. No children allowed! There was a new lady who was with the group for the first time. They had a good time together. After food Gail shared her testimony and Annette brought a short word. The evening went well.

In Airdrie the meeting was held in Rae and John's home. John shared his thoughts and hopes to start a soup kitchen in Airdrie. Thereafter Rae brought a short word which tied in perfectly with what John had been speaking about. The group are very excited about their new venture. More details of this will follow in due course.

In Coatbridge a larger group gathered and, despite some being on holiday this week, there was still a good number present. A new lady came along. Barbara shared her amazing testimony to salvation, baptism, deliverance and healing. Following this Diana brought a short word from Isaiah 45:2 ' I will break in pieces the gates of brass.'
It was with great joy that our new friend found Christ before the end of the evening.
