Outreach Meetings Report

by Struthers Cumbernauld

Wednesday 5 June

In Motherwell we had a very good meeting. It is always encouraging to see new faces at these meetings and once again we were not disappointed.
This week's meeting was our penultimate meeting before the summer break. The service started with a time of worship led by Karen and Andrew, followed by a testimony from Liz who shared how God had brought her from Mormonism to Christ. Thereafter Laura spoke from Galatians 5 about walking in the Spirit and the justifying, sanctifying work that God does in our hearts. The meeting closed with a lovely time of singing and worship. The visitors appeared to really enjoy the service. We thank our God for His faithfulness.

In Coatbridge, Pete began the service with some singing. From the very beginning there was a strong Presence of God. Vicky followed by sharing testimony to salvation, baptism and deliverance. Thereafter, Carol brought an excellent word from Psalm 18 and Song of Songs, linking it to the Thought For The Week. Finally we closed with a lovely worship time. There was opportunity for ministry and this was also very rich. Our newer friends got on well. We thank God for all He is doing amongst us.

In Airdrie, Rae began the service by giving a very encouraging report on recent street work. She then led a time of singing before Diana brought the word from Hebrews 4:1. It was about entering into God's rest; what that really means and how to find it. This was followed by a powerful worship time with a sense of some lives really breaking through into new depths in God. We are very grateful to God for His Presence.
