Airdrie And Coatbridge Outreach

by Struthers Cumbernauld

We had extra folks with us tonight for our joint Christmas supper outreach. One of our old friends from ASK, who we haven't seen for a while, joined us. After John led  some singing we turned to God's word. Rae spoke of how creation didn't stop after six days. God rested, but the reality is that He continues to create today.  The Christmas story tells of His plan of salvation which makes us new creatures in Him.  We finished with some carol's and then tucked in to a lovely Christmas supper. Meetings will resume again on 14th January. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year! 🌲

We had a very happy gathering for our last meeting of 2015. We started off by singing some carols and followed on with our folks giving their very encouraging weekly reports. Carol spoke from the verse 'The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it' John 1:5. We heard how no matter how difficult the days become around us the light that has come through the birth of our saviour will always shine in that darkness. We had a lovely worship time at the end and the Presence of God deeply filled our hearts. We finished off with a beautiful Christmas supper and a very joyous time of fellowship.
