We had a busy evening at our Craft Fayre at Struthers Church Cumbernauld on Wednesday night.
Our coffee shop was very busy with folks coming to see all the excellent gifts that were on sale. We had quite a selection from framed photographs, Harris tweed covers, handmade Christmas cards, beautifully handcrafted baby clothes plus various Christmas candles, ornaments, baubles and of course our usual wonderful supply of baking, jams and chutneys. The stalls were in our coffee shop and Sunday School rooms.
At the end of the evening many of us gathered in the Church for a time of carol singing. Thereafter Mags gave a brief testimony followed by a short word from the Gospels by Diana. Folks were very warm as they left at the end of the evening.
We were delighted to take in between £600-£700 profit from our crafts which will be donated to our two chosen charities - Open Doors and Barnabas Fund.
