Coatbridge, Motherwell and Airdrie outreaches

by Struthers Cumbernauld

Our meeting went well this week. All our usual folks were out along with 3 visitors from the local area.

Tiffies took the singing which was very good before Margaret gave her testimony. She spoke well and got a round of applause from everyone!Pauline spoke on John 10:10 'I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.' We closed with a few songs and a couple of prayers from some of our locals which was nice. One prayed thanking God for the group and asking that God would bless us.

Our outreach meetings will not be on over the summer as many of our folks are attending our summer camps for the deepening of spiritual life. We will resume again in September. Details will be on the website.

It was our last meeting in Coatbridge before we break up for the summer holidays. We began with our usual time of sharing which, as always, was very encouraging. Carol then spoke from Hebrews ch6 v19 and then from ch10 v22-23. The theme of her speaking was 'hope', not just our hope of heaven and of finally being with Jesus, but of the hope He gives us in our day to day lives. We finished with a fantastic prayer time, which included a time of worship and public prayer. One or two prayers were particularly moving, and we thank God for every blessing that He has poured out over the last few months, and we look forward to meeting again after the holidays.
