Toddlers update

by Struthers Cumbernauld

Toddlers.

We had a great time at Toddlers today. During free play some of our older children took advantage of the dry weather to play outside led by Marianne and some of our parents. After some parachute games the children had their outlines drawn on the ground. They could see they were all different. During story time Annette gave each child an orange and discussed how they looked exactly the same but when they really studied them they could see their orange was different. The oranges were put to the side for a few minutes then they had to find their own. Amazingly most managed.

We talked about how God has made us all quite alike with arms and legs etc but also different; all, however, are special to God. We then a had a special food tasting session where the boys and girls had the chance to taste some new foods. Our growing group of babies and young Toddlers had a happy singing time where they learned some new songs.

We had 20 children and 19 adults with us.  Remember no Toddlers session next week.
