Midweek meetings

by Struthers Cumbernauld

We had a couple of  old visitors who joined with us this week at Airdrie. Firstly, Rae led some singing before we all enjoyed John speaking around 're-igniting your passion for God.' He used the analogy of being like a deflated balloon when we let things like sin, guilt and tiredness cause us to loose our passion for Jesus. There followed a very good worship time with some ministry. We then ended our evening with fellowship over a cup of tea and biscuits. Our meeting will be off next week but will resume as usual on 26th October.

We had a good number this week along with two visitors from different churches.

Mark and Leah began with some singing which was very nice. Pauline then shared her testimony and used parts of it in connection with verses from the Bible to illustrate the importance of the Holy Spirit.

We closed with a lovely time of worship at the end. Our meeting will be on as usual next week. There is a sense of the Spirit moving amongst us at the moment in Pentecostal power. Anyone interested in the baptism of the Holy Spirit would find these meetings very helpful.
