Thought for the week by pastor Diana Rutherford

Psalm 18:32,33
'For those for whom is appointed the joyful walk on the hill-tops, there are glorious certainties; it is God that girdeth them with strength, and makes their way perfect. He maketh their feet like hinds' feet, and setteth them upon their high places.'

What an inheritance is ours! Take time to look carefully at the list:
hill-tops, joyful walks, glorious certainties (faith), strength, hinds' feet, high places and most of all He makes our way perfect. What more could we ask for?
All these are ours if we simply follow Christ and obey Him. Why is it as Christians we choose to walk the opposite of all these things? Consider the opposite:
the misty flats, the sombre walk, doubts, weakness, heavy footsteps, difficulty when climbing and worst of all an imperfect way not led or guided by God.
Which one describes your Christian experience?

God's word does not lie. If you have not found the hill-tops of faith yet, turn and look to Him who is able to change you. Commit your life, mind, heart and whole being to Him and He will make your way perfect too!
