Thought For The Week by Pastor Diana Rutherford

Thy God hath sent forth strength for thee.  Psalm 68:28

Are there ever days when you feel very tired, drained and weary and the only thing that you think will fix it is a long holiday in the sun!  The word of God says that strength is sent forth for you.  It is sent forth from the sanctuary of God's presence directly for you. It leaves the very presence of God like an arrow, with one purpose and that is to come and help you and strengthen you for all the trials and tribulations you will face today.  Why need we ever fear?  He will give us the strength we need for all our troubles.  Let us be careful to receive that strength; not to be so consumed with ourselves that we miss these arrows of strength sent from heaven.  They will bring to us exactly what we need: the strength, the power, the wisdom and the words.   Trust Him with all your tomorrows.  Learn to lift your eyes when you suddenly find you need help and then it will be given just as He has promised.
