Thought for the week by pastor Diana Rutherford

'He said to them, “The harvest is bigger than you can imagine, but there are few workers. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers for his harvest.'

Luke 10:2

Isn't it true? There is so much need out there; so many lives looking for the reality of spiritual life. People are no longer satisfied with a churchianity they are wanting the real thing, real Christianity or nothing!
And so the responsibility rests on you and I. We need to, first of all, do all we can to bring lives into the kingdom and secondly, we need to pray for other workers to waken up and come and help us!
Only recently, at one of our outreach meetings, someone said "We've been crying out for something like this". People are hungry for the real strong Presence of Jesus. The Church today needs to find it for herself; lay hold of it and transmit it to others. Then, the harvest 'that we can't imagine' will come in and our God will be glorified!
