“As for God, His way is perfect."     2 Samuel 22:31-33

We can find no fault with our God. He is perfect in every way. The longer we know Him and serve Him the more we know that this is true of Him. Here are some ways the Bible teaches us He is perfect.

"The word of the Lord is tried."

The Bible is an excellent tool to help us get to know our Lord. The word has been tried by thousands before us and has been found perfect. The Holy Spirit gives us the perfect word at the perfect time.

"He is a buckler to all them that trust in Him."

The presence of God is like a shield that surrounds and protects us perfectly. There is no part left uncovered because He is a perfect protection.

"Who is a rock, save our God?"

Our God is immovable. The perfect foundation for our lives. It doesn't matter what surrounds us or what we have to deal with, God is the one on whom we stand. He cannot be shaken and neither can we if we remain in Him!

"God is my strength and power and He maketh my way perfect."

He gives us strength to have courage for the difficulties we face in life and power to overcome sin within. He changes us entirely; we lean on Him so heavily that our ways are made perfect for us. All things work together and we discover blessings in the midst of trials.

And so to put these verses together:

“As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried; He is a buckler to all them that trust in Him. “For who is God, save the Lord? And who is a rock, save our God? God is my strength and power, and He maketh my way perfect."

He feeds us; He protects us; He is under us and He makes everything perfectly fit together. The only thing we have to do is to trust in Him.
